Youngsters Hit The Right Note At Jubilee Celebration
Talented young singers from Moseley Park put in a noteworthy performance at a special celebration to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The students had been invited to the event in Penn after being talent-spotted by members of the Wulfrun Ladies’ Choir during previous concerts held in school.
Lauren Ward and Christine Cross in Year 11, Aaliyah Walker-Hinds in Year 10 and Ethan Shaw in Year 9 performed solos and duets to a large audience during the celebration on May 21.
The musical quartet each received a Headteacher’s Commendation and a special prize in recognition of their efforts representing the school on the city stage.
Mrs Russell, who took the students to the concert, said: “They were absolutely fantastic and represented the school with amazing voices. We’re looking forward to hearing from them again during this year’s Moseley Park Talent Show on June 29.”
