Year 9 GCSE Drama Trip
On Tuesday 11th February, pupils who study Drama in year 9 visited the Grand Theatre in Wolverhampton to watch a production of ‘The History Boys’.
The hit comedy by Alan Bennett gives the audience an insight into the life of an unruly bunch of sixth-formers, an English teacher at odds with the young, a shrewd supply teacher and a headmaster obsessed with results.
The performance will be analysed and evaluated in lesson as part of the GCSE specification for Drama, in preparation for the pupils written exam in year 11. Pupils and staff thoroughly enjoyed the performance and the pupils displayed exemplary behaviour throughout the evening.
