Wolverhampton Youth Council Representatives

Moseley Park’s DNA (Diverse not Adverse) founders Emily Frisby (Y11) and Emmy Cox-Dickens (Y11) have been elected to be the voice of their Moseley Park peers and are now officially part of the Wolverhampton Youth Council.

The Youth Council, which formed in 2001, has evolved into a group for young people to make sure their views are considered by decision makers in Wolverhampton, as well as providing extra scrutiny for councillor’s.

We are extremely proud of the girls and they were very excited to be elected.

Students are also currently voting for change in our local. Make your Mark promotes one of our British Values of Democracy by students voting on an area which is going to be debated and action taken to try to force improvement.
