Superstar Students Prove Moseley Park’s Got Talent

Star quality was definitely on show as students proved once and for all that Moseley Park’s Got Talent.

Youngsters from across the school entertained with an array of acts during the annual competition on Wednesday night.

Aaliyah Walker Hinds in Year 10 was voted the ultimate winner for her performance of the French song Derniere Danse.

Second place went to Year 9’s Ethan Shaw singing Wilkommen from the hit musical Cabaret, supported by a few surprise backing dancers – including Mr Fowkes and Mr Parkes who certainly dressed the part.

An amazing Adele cover by Penny Wilkes, in Year 8, earned her third place, with another Year 8 student, Zac Tobin, placing fourth performing Jailhouse Rock.

Last, but by no means least, Thomas Underhill in Year 12 took the fifth spot with his piano solo Natural.

Mrs Russell, who organised the talent show, said: “It was a huge success. All pupils performed at such a high standard, with so much confidence and stage presence.

“They were all fantastic and the judges had a very difficult task deciding who would be the ultimate winner. Well done to everyone involved.”
