Sixth Form Mentors Boost Students’ Reading Skills
Young readers have been coming on in leaps and bounds with a little help from sixth form mentors.
Post-16 students have been helping Year 7 youngsters to boost their reading skills on Friday mornings.
Mr Fitzgerald said: “Part of the sixth form experience is ‘giving a little back’ to the school community. It’s lovely to see the younger students interacting with such positive role models. Thank you to all our reading mentors for the time you give them.”
