Sign Of Dedication As Students Complete Communication Course
Sixth formers have been busy learning new communication skills as part of their Enrichment programme.
Around 30 Post-16 students have been mastering the basics of British Sign Language after enrolling on an online course.
The group comes together on a Wednesday afternoon to learn new signs and practise their newly-acquired communication skills.
Mr Fitzgerald said: “They have loved gaining new skills and finding new ways to communicate with others, with some students completing the course as part of the skills section of their Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award.”
