Roaring Success As Students Turn Up In Style

Prom was back with a roar with revving engines, glitter cannons and everything from HGVs to scrambler bikes as Moseley Park turned up in style to mark the end of Year 11.

This year’s event – which had a Neon theme – took place at Molineux on July 7. Staff and families provided the traditional welcoming committee for pupils as they arrived suited and booted in a variety of impressive cars, motorbikes and even a couple of lorries.

A range of awards, voted for by Year 11 and their teachers, were also handed out during the evening – with Tashaan Bhatia and Asia Courtenay being crowned Prom King and Queen.

Staff and students then danced the night away to some traditional party classics.

Mrs Thomas, who helps organise the prom, said: “It was a really lovely evening and the students had a fantastic time. I’d like to wish our departing Year 11s every success in the future, whatever path they choose.”
