Red Carpet Glamour At Hollywood Prom

A touch of movie star glamour came to the Molineux as students walked the red carpet to celebrate the end of Year 11 in style.

This year’s prom – which had a Hollywood theme – took place at Molineux on July 5. Staff and families provided the traditional welcoming committee for pupils as they arrived suited and booted in a variety of impressive cars, motorbikes and even a lorry!

A range of awards, voted for by Year 11 and their teachers, were also handed out during the evening – with Omari Bayo and Saffron Tomlinson being crowned Prom King and Queen.

Staff and students then danced the night away to some traditional party classics.

Mrs Thomas, who helps organise the prom, said: “It was a really lovely evening and the students had a fantastic time. I’d like to wish our departing Year 11s every success in the future, whatever path they choose.”
