Reading Is Power As Students Mark World Book Day
Students in Year 7 and 8 have the chance to enjoy free reads as part of World Book Day.
All Key Stage 3 students will be given a book token in their English lessons today or tomorrow.
Tokens can be taken to local bookstores and exchanged for one of 12 special World Book Day titles, or alternatively they can be used to get £1 off a book of the student’s choice.
The tokens can be used until Sunday, March 31.
World Book Day, which is a celebration of authors, illustrators, books and reading, takes place today.
