Pupils’ Podcast Celebrates School Success

Youngsters have taken to the airwaves with the latest information about what is going on at Moseley Park.

The brand new weekly podcast launched this half term and contains information about key school events, shout-outs about student success and even interviews with teachers.

It was the brainchild of student leaders Oliver Rae Prince and Isaac Truman.

The duo and their team – including Ashley Woodhouse, William Cownley, Dylan Rehman, Ethan Shaw and John Walsh –  are now producing a regular podcast which is broadcast to form groups across the school.

Mr Mincher, who runs the student leadership programme, said: “They have shown excellent leadership in creating this podcast – and the fact lots of pupils want to join in is testament to its success.

“It’s wonderful to see students engaging with achievements in and outside of school, some of which they would not know about if it wasn’t for something like this podcast. The confidence students get from this type of experience puts them in a good position when applying for college, university or apprenticeships as they leave school with more they just fantastic exam results.”
