Musical Fun On Colourful Theatre Trip
Drama students were singing and dancing in their seats as they enjoyed a trip to watch a classic musical spectacular.
Key Stage Three pupils from Moseley Park and partner school Heath Park had a fantastic evening watching Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Birmingham Hippodrome.
The much-loved musical, which retells the Biblical story of Joseph and his brothers, starred Jaymi Hensley, from boy band Union J, in the lead role. Students had a fantastic time singing along to classic songs including Any Dream Will Do.
Mrs Creighton, Drama teacher at Moseley Park, said: “It was wonderful to see so many of our younger pupils with smiles on their faces, enjoying the theatre and creative arts.
“To be able to give them opportunities such as this allows youngsters to see that anyone, regardless of age, race, gender and ability can do anything they want in life as long as they try their hardest.”
