Bronze Award Is Step Towards ‘Rights Respecting School’
Staff and students at Moseley Park are celebrating after making the first step towards becoming a Unicef UK Rights Respecting School.
The school has been given the Bronze award and is now busy working towards achieving the Silver level.
The award recognises achievement in putting the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) at the heart of the school’s ethos to improve well-being and outcomes for every child and to help all children realise their potential.
Moseley Park will join around 4,500 other schools in the UK working through the RRS programme which is a movement for change in the way children experience their school and their childhood. There are three levels to the award – Bronze, Silver and Gold.
You can find more information about the awards by visiting the Unicef Rights Respecting Schools website.
