Isabel Holleron completes Sahara Desert charity walk

Isabel Holleron a Year 11 students from Moseley Park, completed a charity walk across the Sahara Desert covering 70 miles over 5 days, for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.  “So far, my dad and I have raised almost £4,000 and money is still coming in.  Overall, between the 33 other people, plus me and my dad, all who came on the trek with us, together we raised nearly £120,000 which is incredible as all of the proceeds go to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.  This will enable the hospital to buy new equipment or update older equipment.  I was the youngest person to ever complete this challenge and it was an amazing opportunity, I will forever be grateful to be a part of. It was a ‘surreal’ experience and I am looking forward to doing more challenges like this in the future.”
