History Trip Is The Best Medicine
Around 80 students took a step into the past when they travelled down to London as part of their GCSE History course.
The Year 11 youngsters visited the London Dungeons earlier this month to come face to face with plague doctors and hear more about eye-watering cures to support their Medicine Through Time topic.
Mrs Gore, who led the trip, said: “Students had a great time immersing themselves in the past and seeing historical figures brought to life. They were impeccably behaved and hopefully they have come back with an even better understanding of what medicine was like in the past.”
