Golden Girl Ruby Heads To National Karate Finals
A Year 9 student is celebrating after qualifying for a coveted place in a national karate contest.
Ruby Smith battled her way to the gold medal at the Go-Kan-Ryu Karate finals, in Cannock, last week.
She will now go on to compete in the national finals in Sheffield in November.
Miss Rigsby said: “We are very proud of Ruby. She has trained very hard and deserves every success.”
