Fundraising Is A Piece Of Cake – And A Cuppa!
Students and staff are busy preparing sweet treats and delicious cakes ahead of a fundraising coffee morning in aid of cancer care.
Moseley Park is getting ready to host the annual event as part of the Macmillian World’s Biggest Coffee Morning initiative. It will take place on Thursday, September 26, with parents welcome to come along between 9.15am and 10.15am to sample some of the delicious treats and help boost the fundraising total.
Last year Moseley Park raised a whopping £1235.27 at the event – and students and staff are looking to smash that total this year.
The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s largest fundraising event, with groups participating across the UK. Money raised from the events go towards providing medical, emotional, practical and financial support for those in need.
Miss Jones, who is organising the event, said: “It’s great to see students and staff working together for such a great cause. I can’t wait to see all the amazing cakes we’ll have to sell.”
