It was a day of personal triumphs and athletic feats as Key Stage 3 youngsters took part in their annual sports day.
Dozens of students battled it out in a range of events from track and field to tug of war as they competed for the honour of being crowned best house – a title won by Knight.
And staff even joined in the fun, with a hotly-contested tug of war battle – to the delight of watching students.
Miss Jacobs, who organised Sports Day, said: “It was a brilliant day and it was particularly fantastic to see students of all sporting abilities joining in. It’s not just about winning – sport is fun too and I think we definitely proved that. It was lovely to see such a high standard of good sportsmanship as well – with students getting behind all of their peers and cheering them on.”
