Young fundraisers pulled in the pounds for Pudsey with a charity cake sale.
The group is part of Moseley Park’s Young Leaders programme and takes responsibility for raising money for good causes.
They helped the school to raise an impressive £181.22 for the BBC’s annual charity extravaganza.
Mr Mincher, who runs the programme, said he was very impressed by the initiative shown by the young leaders. “I reminded them that Children In Need was coming up and the next thing I knew they’d sorted cakes and arranged for the sale to take place. It was wonderful to see them coming up with their own ideas and putting them into action independently – exactly the sort of caring and scholarly behaviour we want to encourage in students through the programme.”
