Cross-Country Success As Andrew Clinches County Spot

A talented runner is celebrating after clinching a coveted space in the county cross-country squad.

Andrew Prole, who is in Year 11, won his spot after representing Wolverhampton in the West Midlands’ Cross-Country Championships earlier this year.

He now runs for the West Midlands’ Cross-Country Team and recently pulled on his running shoes to take on competitors from ten other counties in a national competition.

Miss Jacobs, who is Head of PE, said: “He ran remarkably well and all his hard work and dedication is most definitely paying off. We wish Andrew the best of luck for the rest of the season.”
