Young footballers spent a day at a top university learning how to encourage more girls to take part in sport.
The five, who are all in Year 7, received training from the FA and the Youth Sport Trust during their visit to the University of Nottingham.
Their role will be to encourage and increase participation in girls’ football through employability skills. They will run female-only sessions at lunch time and after school in a bid to increase the amount of physical activity girls do.
Miss Jacobs, who organised the trip, said: “The ladies were fantastic on the day and I am certain they have the right skills to drive this concept forward.”
